Netflix has officially confirmed that it will film a "Resident Evil" TV series (using the name "Resident Evil"). There are a total of 8 episodes, each about 60 minutes long. The story will be divided into two timelines to tell a brand new story: 14-year-old sisters Jade Wesker and Billie Wesker moved to the new Raccoon City. As they spend more time in the town, they are more aware of the undercurrents under the calm of the town, and their father may be hiding a secret that can destroy the world; the second timeline tells that more than ten years later, there are less than 15 million humans left on the earth, and the number of zombies infected with the T virus is as high as 6 billion. Jade, who is already 30 years old, struggles to survive in this world, and the secrets of the past still haunt her. The first two episodes of the show will be written by Andrew Dabo ("Supernatural") and directed by Bronwen Hughes ("The Walking Dead").
