Plot:
"Marwencol" is based on the 2010 documentary of the same name and tells the true story of Mark Hogancamp. After being beaten by five teenagers, the man fell into a coma for nine days and lost his memory when he woke up. He didn't remember anything about his life, friends and family. As a special treatment method, Mark Hogancamp began to create a Belgian town during World War II in his backyard with 1:6 model dolls. He called it "Marwencol". He used dolls to represent himself, his friends and those who beat him. "Marwencol" repaired Mark Hogancamp's mind to a certain extent, and also allowed him to create a fantasy world. And this world was also allowed to be seen by more people through Jeff Malmberg's documentary released in 2010.
