Plot:
The love, hatred and hatred between the two generations of three families were staged in Hong Kong in the early 1990s under the theme of "human nature". I am kind, but who made me step into the abyss step by step? In the 1970s, a fire broke up a warm family. Policeman Jiang Dingbang (played by Luo Lelin) believed that his wife and children had been buried in the fire, so he went to the UK sadly. Twenty years later, Dingbang, who returned to Hong Kong, met Qi Qiaozheng (played by Zeng Jiang), a tycoon in Hong Kong's upper class society, on many occasions. But Dingbang felt that this person was not a good person. In a murder case, the defendant Qiao Zheng's son Qi Haonan (played by Deric Wan) was brought to court. At this time, Dingbang suddenly discovered that Qiao Zheng's wife was his ex-wife who he thought was dead, and Haonan was his son! Haonan regarded Qiao Zheng as an idol, and he went to jail for him even though he knew that this was Qiao Zheng's doing. On the other hand, Shi Yiming (played by Maggie Shiu), the daughter of Shi Changchun (played by Hu Feng), who had a close relationship with Qiao Zheng, returned from the UK and met Haonan several times. Family affection and love, justice and evil are intertwined in Haonan's heart. Can the grievances and hatreds of the two generations be resolved in Haonan's generation?
