Plot:
The story focuses on a pair of old gay men, Freddy (Ian McKellen) and Stuart (Derek Jacobi), who live in Covent Garden, London, England. After living together for 48 years, Stuart still reported to his mother that they were roommates. When they met, Freddy was a new actor and Stuart was a bartender. Now both of them have started to receive pensions, and their sunset life of walking the dog, reading newspapers, watching handsome men, quarreling at the head of the bed and making up at the foot of the bed is still very exciting. The latest gay sitcom "The Best Gay Couple" launched by ITV in the UK is starred by two Tony Award winners, and the screenwriters and behind-the-scenes executive producers of the classic comedy "Will & Grace" and the famous animation "Family Guy" are in charge.
