Kim Go-eun will star in Korea's first musical film [Hero], playing the role of Seok-hee, the last royal maid of Joseon who witnessed the death of Queen Myeongseong. Directed by Yoon Je-kyun, the film is based on the musical of the same name and tells the story of the last year of the life of Ahn Jung-geun, a famous activist in modern Joseon history. Seok-hee will collect key intelligence from Japan and is a strong character who actively supports social events. The film is scheduled to start shooting in the second half of this year and will be shot in China, Japan, Russia and other countries.
