Detective Ho Ruo-chi (Ronald Cheng) meets a girl named Chan Mei-ling (Charlene Choi), who turns out to be a robot. Then comes another robot named Chan Mei-ling from 50 years in the future. She wants to make sure that the brother of the great scientist Ho Siu-ming dies on August 15th. Ho Siu-ming will work hard to develop a series of robots based on the appearance of his wife because of his brother's death. And Ruo-chi is Ho Siu-ming's brother. Ruo-chi is terrified and is framed by his superior in the police force (Huang Haoran) for the murder of a police officer. Ruo-chi has to escape. Mei-ling, who made the fake passport, looks exactly like the robot that Ruo-chi had met before. Ruo-chi mistakenly thinks she is also a robot, so he decides to pretend to pursue Mei-ling so that he doesn't have to die. On August 15th, as expected, Mei-ling really loves Ruo-chi and is willing to die in his place, only to find that history has been rewritten.
