Ka Kui (played by Wong Ka Kui), Chi Keung (played by Wong Ka Keung), Sai Wing (played by Yip Sai Wing) and Kwun Chung (played by Wong Ka Kui) are four young people who form their own band and are obsessed with music, but each of them has his own dream. Sai Wing is in love with his girlfriend Ma Li (played by Faye Wong), but his future father-in-law, Jian Neng, who is a medical professor, does not approve of his career in music. Jian Neng stubbornly forces Sai Wing, who faints at the sight of blood, to study medicine; Kwun Chung, who dreams of becoming a policeman, does not have good physical fitness, but he is able to start as an inconspicuous traffic supervisor only because he impresses the police examiner with his sincerity; Ka Kui's family hopes to immigrate to the United States and open a restaurant. In order to achieve this goal, the whole family starts a money-making competition. Ka Kui has several jobs and is busy all the time; Zi Qiang, who has just entered the workplace, is full of ambition and is confident that he can become a first-class agent through hard work. The four young people work hard for their ideals and experience many setbacks and deceptions along the way. Can their dreams come true?
