The uncle played by Ryuhei Matsuda is a part-time philosophy lecturer with an eccentric personality. He spends his days lying around at his brother's house reading comics. He likes to argue with reason and occasionally says shocking things. Once he is fascinated by something, he will show inhuman energy and enthusiasm. The story unfolds from the perspective of his nephew Yukio (played by Riku Ohnishi). Yukio had no good feelings for his uncle, but by chance, his uncle met a goddess (played by Yoko Maki) who he fell in love with at first sight. The goddess is going to return to Hawaii to take over the coffee estate left by her grandmother, so the uncle and nephew set off to Hawaii and embarked on a journey to pursue the goddess. The film is adapted from the children's literature of the same name by Northern University in 1972.
