Plot:
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Johnson, a husband and wife team, are going to work together again. They will make the "notorious" bestseller "A Million Little Pieces" about drug addicts into a movie. The husband is expected to star and the wife to direct. The two have worked together in the movie "Nowhere Boy" (and fell in love because of it). The "A Million Little Pieces" project is also very bloody: the original book is written by James Frey, which sold very well. After it was released in 2003, it became the target of competition among major film companies. Warner obtained the adaptation rights that year, and Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Grey served as producers. However, before the movie was finished, Frey was exposed to a scandal in 2006. This book, which is classified as an "autobiography" on the market, is mixed with a lot of false information. Frey embellished his experience. After that, Frey was criticized as a "big liar". Oprah Winfrey, the host of the "Oprah Book Club" she founded, also said that she was deceived. The film project has become a hot potato and has gone through many twists and turns. But the story itself is fascinating, about a man who wakes up on a plane to Chicago and then begins rehabilitation, and the book's portrayal and analysis of people struggling with drug addiction, alcoholism, crime, and despair is shocking.
