Plot:
The film is adapted from the stage play "A Man Born at the Tokyo Olympics" directed, written, and starred by Mitsuru Uchimura in 2011. It tells the story of the protagonist Akita Izumi (Mitsuru Uchimura), who was born in the year of the Tokyo Olympics in 1964. Because he won the championship in a running competition when he was young, he wanted to stand on the world's highest podium and strive for it. Akita Izumi won first prizes in various fields such as painting and calligraphy, but he was unable to recover and suffered setbacks in junior high school. As a result, Akita Izumi was toyed with by the opposite sex students starring Kamishiraishi Moeka.
