Plot:
The second season of "Unforgotten" still revolves around an old case. This time, a suitcase was salvaged from the River Lee in London, and the body curled up in it had been there for nearly 30 years. Starting from the watch and call machine left behind, several characters with their own successful lives surfaced. Inspector Nixon, played by Lorraine Ashbourne, was the wife of the deceased at the time, with a husband and children; Colin Osborne, played by Mark Bernard, is a former banker and current criminal lawyer, with a same-sex lover who is preparing to adopt a girl; Marianne Chelsea, played by Rosie Cavrilo, is a nurse in the pediatric oncology ward, with a husband but no children, and a tense relationship with her mother and sister; Sarah Mohammed, played by Badria Timimi, is an English teacher who is competing for the position of principal and has three sons with her husband. After the incident that year, their lives all took a major turn.
