Plot:
"Tenten and the Street Drifter" tells a mahjong story centered on a substitute player named Ten. It was serialized in Takeshobo's "Modern Mahjong Gold" from 1989 to 2002. Regarding this live-action adaptation, the lead actor Kishitani said: "I have to start with the basics of mahjong. Under the guidance of a professional teacher, I learned how to hold mahjong tiles. When I was riding the Shinkansen (similar to a high-speed train), I kept touching the tiles to get familiar with mahjong." The original author of this work, Nobuyuki Fukumoto, said: "I believe that the production team that produced "Silver and Gold" can show the fun of the mahjong TV series. In addition, the lead actor Goro Kishitani also has the temperament of the protagonist of the original work."
