Plot:
Ding Peng (Louis Koo), the descendant of Meteor from the Sky, is a newcomer in the martial arts world. After he challenged Liu Ruosong (Zhang Zhaohui), the master of the Gentleman Sword, Liu Ruosong postponed the competition for one month on the grounds of his father's death. Ding Peng met Qin Keqing (Irene Wan), who pretended to be a prostitute but was actually Liu Ruosong's wife, in a brothel. Her embrace and meticulous care made Ding Peng fall in love with her, so he gave her a copy of Meteor from the Sky as a token of love. The competition with Liu, which was postponed for one month, came unexpectedly, but Ding Peng didn't know that he had already fallen into Liu's conspiracy. He failed in the competition, his family's unique skills were taken away by others, and his beloved betrayed him. Ding Peng had no choice but to jump off a cliff and escape. There is always a way out, he escaped death and drifted to a paradise called Wangyou Island, where he accidentally met Qingqing (Liang Xiaobing) and his daughter, learned a unique sword technique, and returned to the Central Plains with a crescent-shaped scimitar to avenge his past hatred and become the leader of the world. However, when Ding Peng accidentally learned that the crescent-shaped scimitar was a martial arts of the demon sect, the contradiction between good and evil in his heart caused him to fall into an endless struggle... The film is adapted from Gu Long's martial arts novel of the same name "Crescent-shaped Scimitar".
