Plot:
Battlestar Galactica was first broadcast as a miniseries on the American Sci-Fi Channel on December 8, 2003, and then the first season premiered on the British SkyOne TV channel on October 18, 2004. The series has won seven awards, including three Saturn Awards in 2006, and 11 nominations, including five Emmy Awards. In terms of ratings, it has also become the most popular original series of the American Sci-Fi Channel. The series mainly tells the story of the war between humans and Cylons, and the story of the 50,000 surviving humans looking for a new home, Earth. In an unknown place in the universe, there is an interstellar country composed of 12 human colonies. For convenience, humans have created a kind of robot with independent thoughts and feelings - Cylons to serve humans, but people can't imagine that these robots that are supposed to help humans will turn around and fight against themselves. Cylons rose up to resist humans, and the war between humans and the Cylons they created began... After decades of long and bloody battles with countless casualties, both sides ceased fire, and the Cylons left the colonies to build their own homes. 40 years of peace have made humans relax their vigilance. Cylons created some robots that are exactly like humans to infiltrate the human world and paralyze the human defense system, destroying the Battlestar fleet and using nuclear weapons to turn the colony cities into ashes. Battlestar Galactica is the only surviving aircraft carrier. Under the command of Captain Adama, it led dozens of various civilian ships and nearly 50,000 remaining human survivors to escape from the colony galaxy and began the journey to find the 13th human colony - Earth.
