Plot:
Cheung Yat Kin (Kenneth Ma) and Fan Ziyu (Tavia Yeung) live a sweet life after marriage, and Ziyu is pregnant. One day, a disaster occurred in the hospital, and one of the injured was infected with an infectious disease. Ziyu, who was in charge of the operation that day, was forced to be isolated. Fortunately, the infectious disease incident was finally solved by pathologist Lo Man Sheng (Lawrence Ng). Although Ziyu was out of trouble, her old illness suddenly relapsed and she needed to undergo electrotherapy. The fetus could not be saved. Yat Kin and Ziyu had no choice but to decide to abort the baby. After the operation, Ziyu seemed relieved, but Yat Kin knew that his beloved wife was just enduring the pain. Misfortunes never come singly. The condition of the patient who Yat Kin was operating on suddenly took a turn for the worse. The patient's family believed that it was a medical error and held Yat Kin responsible. Yat Kin was afraid that Ziyu would worry, so he concealed the incident. At the same time, Yat Kin's mother Wong Siu Ying (Gigi Wong) discovered that his rheumatoid arthritis was getting worse. Under the double pressure of family and work, Yat Kin's anxiety index rose sharply. Zi Yu temporarily quit her job as a doctor to receive electrotherapy and took a leave to recuperate. During this period, she reflected on the purpose of work and life. She also regained the motivation to return to work and fulfill her mission as a doctor by teaching Yeung Pui-chung (Him Law) to perform minimally invasive surgery. In order to let Yat Kin put down the burden of work and family, Zi Yu understood her own limitations, began to examine her physical condition, and with the inspiration of Wen Sheng, she finally made up her mind and resolutely switched to pathology to start over. On the contrary, Yat Kin thought that Zi Yu had given up on herself and her ideals because she faced a miscarriage and was worried that she could no longer become a surgeon, so he opposed Zi Yu's switch to pathology. The two held their own opinions and conflicts occurred frequently. In the end, the two decided to separate and calm down...
