Thirteen-year-old Nate Foster is an unpopular Midwestern kid with fantasies of becoming a Broadway musical superstar. At the same time, however, Nate can't even land a decent role in his middle school's theatrical production. However, when he and his best friend Libby plan a daring trip to New York City, unbeknownst to their parents, to audition for Lilo & Stitch: The Musical, Nate may be on the verge of fulfilling his lifelong dream. But first, he must overcome a series of obstacles that, at every turn, spell disaster for his Broadway adventure.
