Plot:
After the April 15 counter-revolutionary coup in Guangzhou in 1927, the Han couple, who were members of the underground Communist Party of China, died heroically. The three separated children were adopted by ordinary people. The eldest entered a pharmacy as an apprentice, the second became a chef, and the third was a daughter, who became a Cantonese opera actor. Under the training of their respective masters, they grew up to be the leaders of the industry. Just when they found the enemy who killed their parents and were ready to take revenge, the Anti-Japanese War broke out and Guangzhou fell. The fate of the three people also changed dramatically. The eldest fought with Japanese drug dealers for seven years to protect the Chinese medicine prescriptions from being lost, and finally sacrificed his life in the fight against the Japanese army's bacteriological weapons. The second refused to be a traitor and went to Hong Kong to promote Cantonese cuisine. When his career was successful, he returned to Guangzhou and saved the people with his brother. The third sister led the troupe to participate in the Anti-Japanese War charity performance, while continuing to improve the art of Cantonese opera, looking for a balance between the cruel life and the beautiful world of the play. Until the end of the Anti-Japanese War, the three brothers and sisters insisted on national integrity and carried forward their respective skills.
