Plot:
Obstetrician Wang Fufen (played by Zhang Jiahui) is talented but arrogant. He always feels guilty about his girlfriend's death in his arms, but he can't do anything about it. Eight years ago, he went to Africa with cardiologist Qi Baiheng (played by Lin Feng) to perform foreign aid missions. He witnessed the resilience of human survival in nature. During the eight years of foreign aid, his outlook on life has changed dramatically. After returning to Hong Kong, he is no longer burdened by fame and fortune. Everything is patient-centered. With the support of philanthropists, he opened the Longcheng Medical Center and devoted himself to serving patients. When Baiheng first entered Longcheng, he was very surprised by Fufen's work style. Fufen was not afraid to step on the medical minefield when treating patients, and did not play cards according to common sense, but the effect was often unexpectedly good. Over time, Baiheng was infected by his humanitarian spirit, and was even more moved by Fufen's character of "treating both illness and heart"...
