The grandson of the legendary detective Kanedaichi Kosuke, Kaneda Ichiichi (played by Ryosuke Yamada), is now studying at a private Fudo High School with his childhood sweetheart Nanase Miyuki (played by Haruna Kawaguchi). They are also members of the detective department. Nanase is both good at studying and academics, and Kaneda Ichi is full of color, bored, and happy and carefree in his youth.
