The American Showtime TV network announced the renewal of the costume historical drama "The Borgias" for the third season. The new season of the drama will start shooting in Hungary this summer and return in 2013. "The Borgias" is a big production launched by Showtime TV network in 2011. It focuses on the Italian Pope Alexander VI and tells the story of the Borgia family, the highest ruling circle in Italy during the Renaissance.
