Ozark is a TV series created by Bill Dubuque. Jason Bateman stars in the series and directs half of the episodes. The series mainly tells the story of Marty Byrd (Jason Bateman), a financial planner, and his wife Wendy (Laura Linney). Their family suddenly moves from the suburbs of Chicago to a resort on the Lake of the Ozarks and must pay off a debt to a Mexican drug lord.
