The Starz series Outlander is still filming Season 4, but now it has officially announced that it has ordered two seasons, the fifth and sixth, after all, the ratings are very good. The two newly renewed seasons will have 12 episodes each, and are expected to be broadcast in 2019 and 2020, respectively, based on the original novels "Blood Cross" and "A Breath of Dust" in the Outlander series. Moreover, after these two seasons, there are still two novels that have not been filmed, and the author Diana Gabaldon is currently writing a new one, so Season 6 is likely not the end of the show.
