Shiraishi plays the protagonist Shishin Onoda, a female college student studying at a university in Kyoto City. She begins her long-awaited single life, but then a scary newspaper arrives. Shishin thinks it's a prank at first, but then the same things written in the newspaper happen one after another. Since reading the "scary news" once a day will shorten her life by 100 days, her promising college life will turn into a nightmare accompanied by death.
