Plot:
Netflix has picked up a half-hour series adapted from the YA comic novel "Heartstopper", with a total of 8 episodes. The original author Alice Oseman is responsible for the adaptation, and Euros Lyn, the director of "Torchwood", is the director. See-Saw Films, which created "State of the Union", is the production company. "Heartstopper" tells the story of Nick and Charlie, two British teenagers attending a boys' grammar school. Charlie is an openly gay, very sensitive, and always thinks too much; Nick is a sunny and soft-hearted rugby player. The two were arranged to sit together one day and quickly became friends. Before long, Charlie fell deeply in love with Nick, even though he felt he had no chance. But love always works in unexpected ways, and Nick's interest in Charlie is much greater than the two imagined. This is a story about love, friendship, loyalty and mental illness, which contains various small stories in Nick and Charlie's lives, which together form a big story with deep meaning.
