Plot:
TNT announced that the new drama "Animal Kingdom" will premiere on June 7th, US time; "Animal Kingdom" was filmed in Los Angeles. The drama is centered on the 17-year-old Joshua "J" Cody (played by Finn Cole) played by Finn Cole. It takes place in a small seaside town in Southern California. It tells the story of Joshua living with his grandmother (played by Ellen Barkin) and uncle after his mother died of drug overdose. He had to deal with the indulgence and chaotic way of his family, and soon discovered that his uncle's family was actually a member of a criminal group. Ellen Barkin plays the grandmother Janine Cody, nicknamed Smurf, a working-class mother. She looks like an ordinary woman, but in fact she is a man who trembles at her, sitting in power, and managing an organized crime family. Scott Speedman plays Baz, Janine's right-hand man. Ben Robson will play the main character Craig, who is tough and fearless. He is the second son of this crime family, a senior criminal, and usually likes extreme sports. Daniella Alonso plays Catherine, Baz's wife, and the two have a daughter Lena. Jake Weary plays the youngest son Deran Cody, who is troublesome and like a big kid. Shawn Hatosy plays Pope, the oldest and most dangerous son in the Cody family.
