Plot:
Everyone knows Oda Nobunaga, who is actually an ordinary high school student who traveled back to the Warring States Period from the modern era! Saburo (Oguri Shun), an ordinary high school student who was not good at studying, traveled back to the Warring States Period and met Oda Nobunaga, whose voice and appearance were exactly the same as his. At Nobunaga's request, he exchanged identities with him. Based on the principle that history cannot be changed, he decided to take over the world on behalf of Nobunaga with the reference of history textbooks! In this way, the young warriors of the Oda family, led by Saburo from the future, went from a weak daimyo to the seemingly ethereal and hopeless dream of unifying the world. In addition to Oda Nobunaga, who exchanged identities with Saburo, Nobunaga's wife, Kicho (Shibasaki Yuki), who was famous in history, and Ikeda Tsuneoki (Mukai Osamu), who was as close as a brother to Nobunaga, as well as Shibata Katsuie (Takashima Masahiro), Hashiba Hideyoshi (Yamada Takayuki), Takenaka Hanbei (Fujiki Naoto), Tokugawa Ieyasu (Hamada Gaku), etc., all of these famous figures in the history of the Warring States period, have also appeared in this drama. Saburo, a typical modern man, has no experience of killing, and cannot understand the way of survival of the Warring States generals who are willing to sacrifice their lives for their masters. The retainers who believe in the spirit of Bushido cannot understand the various strange behaviors of Nobunaga after his identity was replaced by Saburo. In the process of continuous running-in between the two sides, many ridiculous things have occurred because of the generation gap that transcends the boundaries of time and space.
