Jackie Chan and John Cena will star in an untitled action thriller. Sylvester Stallone has withdrawn from the film, which is tentatively titled Project X. It will be directed by Scott Waugh (Need for Speed, The Snow Mountain Miracle). Jackie Chan plays a Chinese private security contractor who is called in to rescue local oil workers when a Chinese refinery in the Middle East is attacked. He then realizes that the attackers' real plan is to steal the oil wealth, and he teams up with a former Marine (Cena) to stop them. Jackie Chan is co-producing with Joe Tam, Esmond Ren, and Hans Canosa.
