Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) and Luigi (played by Charlie Day) are two plumbers living in Brooklyn. They have just set up their own small company, but it is obvious that their families do not fully support the brothers' career. One day, at work, Mario and Luigi were sucked into a bizarre world by a water pipe. The two were forced to separate during the journey. Mario came to the Mushroom Kingdom ruled by Princess Peach (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy), while Luigi was unfortunately teleported to the Bowser Kingdom ruled by Bowser (voiced by Jack Black). At this time, Bowser was preparing to attack the Mushroom Kingdom, kidnap the princess and marry her. At this juncture, Mario's appearance brought hope to Princess Peach. She brought Mario to the Jungle Kingdom and asked for the support of the king and prince there (played by Seth Aaron Rogen).
