"The Murder" is a remake of the highly successful 2007 Danish TV series "The Murder" (Forbrydelsen). Detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) is about to quit her job and move to California with her son to marry her fiancé. Before leaving, she received a report and had to take former narcotics detective Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) with her. The suspected missing girl is Rosie Larsen (Katie Findlay), and her mother Mitch (Michelle Forbes) and father Stan (Brent Sexton) know nothing about it. After investigation, a sunken car was found with Rosie's body lying in the trunk.
