The play takes a vicious case as the entry point, and tells the heroic story of two generations of public security officers who, through the perspective of young criminal policeman Chang Zheng (played by Huang Jingyu), bravely fight against dangers to maintain peace and eliminate criminal gangs. In the small city of Changwu (a fictional place), on the front line of the crisis-ridden battle, the deputy captain of the criminal investigation team, Chang Zheng, is caught in a whirlpool because of his long-term pursuit of the powerful Zhao Xiaosheng family.
