As a spin-off of Crime Terminator, Major Crimes will receive many of the original casts and unfold a new story: Mary McDonnell, who has been nominated for an Oscar twice, will lead the new female lead Capt. Sharon Raydor. The series will explore how police and prosecutors ensure that the case is established, the evidence is reliable, and the criminals plead guilty.
