Plot:
In November 1975, in Paris, the appeal hearing of Jewish far-left activist Pierre Goldman is about to begin. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment for four armed robberies, one of which resulted in the deaths of two women, but he has denied the murder charges and has refused to plead guilty. As the trial is widely reported in the media, Goldman is portrayed as a romantic hero of the left-wing intellectual. At the same time, Goldman's relationship with his young lawyer, George Keyman, is becoming increasingly tense. Goldman's elusive and eloquent attitude, even at the risk of being sentenced to death, continues to promote his ideas, making the trial even more confusing. The Goldman Trial depicts a psychological portrait of a radical, but also a portrait of a society torn apart by racism and social injustice. Sadly, these issues still plague society today.
