Plot:
Goro Inogashira (played by Yutaka Matsushige) runs a grocery store by himself. Although his store is not a physical store, he receives many orders from customers. Every time he receives an order, he visits the customer in person, and thus discovers the delicious food hidden in every corner of the city. Whenever he completes his work tasks, he puts everything aside with hunger and concentrates on looking for small shops in the streets and alleys of Tokyo that can arouse his appetite. He always encounters delicious food unexpectedly. Fragrant grilled chicken skewers, hot soupless dandan noodles, delicious barbecue for one person, melt-in-the-mouth Shizuoka oden, crispy and delicious fried pork cutlet set meals, etc. Whenever he is immersed in the process of enjoying food alone, Goro Inogashira's heart is not distracted except for the delicious food, and his worries are swept away after filling his stomach. This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name created by Masayuki Kuzumi and drawn by Jiro Taniguchi. It uses a documentary-like description method. All the restaurants that appear in the drama are real. After each episode, the author personally visits the small shops in the drama, interviews the bosses and tastes more special foods.
