In 794 AD, during the reign of Emperor Kanmu of Japan, Nagaoka in Kyoto was cursed by the vengeful spirit of his younger brother, Prince Sawara, and natural and man-made disasters continued. Emperor Kanmu was forced to move the capital to Heian-kyo, thus opening the prelude to the 400-year Heian period. At that time, the internal struggles of the powerful were fierce, and the people's lives were miserable. As a result, the world was full of vengeful spirits, and people, ghosts and monsters lived together with bated breath. The onmyojis affiliated with the palace Onmyoji have been active on the stage of history since then as the existence of balancing the contradictions between heaven, earth, people and ghosts. The most dazzling among them is Abe Haruaki (played by Mansai Nomura), whose life experience is a mystery. Haruaki summoned Honey Bug (Eriko Imai) and the mysterious woman Aon (Kyoko Koizumi) to work with Boya to dispel the curse, but was framed. It turned out that everything was done by Onmyoji Dozun (Hiroyuki Sanada).
