Plot:
The highly respected Alexander (Jean Reno) has been a three-star chef at a Michelin restaurant for many years, but his situation has been in crisis recently. The current French cuisine is in an era when "molecular cuisine" is popular and traditional cuisine is declining. The traditional cuisine that Alexander insists on is likely to lose in the upcoming star review, and the restaurant's young owner is looking forward to firing him. Just when Alexander was overwhelmed, an unknown little chef Jack (Michael Young) appeared. Jack was a loyal follower of Alexander's recipes, but because of his fanatical stubbornness in cooking, he was repeatedly unemployed and had to find a painting job in a nursing home. By chance, Alexander asked Jack to intern in his restaurant. Jack's innate talent for cooking and unconventional cooking creativity made Alexander appreciate it greatly and soon became his right-hand man. The star review is getting closer and closer. Can the cooperation of the two traditional cooking masters turn the tide in front of the picky "molecular cuisine" faction?
