During the Anti-Japanese War, in the Zaozhuang mining area in southern Shandong, a group of coal miners and railway workers led by Liu Hong and Wang Qiang secretly established a short and powerful guerrilla team under the leadership of the Communist Party of China because they could not bear the oppression and devastation of the Japanese invaders. This guerrilla team experienced many battles such as flying cars to engage machine guns, blood-stained foreign companies, smart ticket cars, night attacks on Lincheng, attacking Gangcun, gathering intelligence, seizing cloth cars, going to Jinan, and going to Xuzhou. They were active in the Shandong line of the Jinpu Line, the main railway lifeline of the Japanese invasion of China, and were called the "Flying Tigers" by the people. Railway guerrillas such as Lu Han and Lin Zhong gradually grew up in the battle and died for the country; Liu Hong and Fang Linsao also fell in love in the battle. In order to eliminate the troubles they had, the Japanese invaders carried out brutal sweeps and strangulations near the railway line, using various conspiracies to put the railway guerrillas in danger. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the Railway Guerrillas, with the support of the people, maneuvered between the railway and Weishan Lake, captured the fleeing Xiaolin and his remnants, and gradually grew stronger.
