Plot:
Wong Jingwei (played by Dayo Wong) is an avant-garde Hong Kong director in the 1990s, but he despises Cantonese films in the 1960s. Unexpectedly, he traveled through time and space back to the 1960s. He was told by the great director Chu Yuan that he could go back as long as he could make a popular movie in the 1960s. Although Wong Jingwei was very helpless, he also met Li Qi (played by Luo Jialiang) and Xie Yuan (played by Wu Zhenyu), a pair of brothers in distress who were not yet famous. Due to Wong Jingwei's special identity, he led the two to become famous in one fell swoop. Li Qi and Xie Yuan's respective girlfriends Baozhu (played by Maggie Cheung) and Fangfang (played by Shu Qi) both fell in love with Wong Jingwei and admired his talent very much. After Li Qi and Xie Yuan learned about the situation, they broke off contact with Wong Jingwei. However, no one appreciated the movies made by Wong Jingwei. Can he return to his own time and space?
