Zuo Nan (Zhang Wen), a professional fraudster who fishes in troubled waters and plays with the world, and his apprentice Ma Hou (Yu Yang) meet because of an old house, a gangster (Liang Chao) and a "scumbag" lie detector Ma Xiaofan (Ma Li). It turns out that Zuo Nan and Ma Xiaofan had been engaged. When they meet again, Zuo Nan can only speak the truth because of the hypnosis of a monk (You Benchang), and Ma Xiaofan is cyberbullied for telling the truth. This pair of happy enemies have to face the threat of criminal gangs and find the answers in each other's hearts in love and lies.
