Plot:
Lu Yu, who wrote The Classic of Tea, tells us a story: During the Song Dynasty, in southwest China, there were male and female black gold tea tribes that brewed tea with different properties and flavors. The Japanese Yagi Soemon could not stand the provocation of the male black gold tribe, so he let the two tribes compete in tea brewing. In the end, the female black gold tribe was completely slaughtered, and only a young bud of the female black gold tribe tea was taken to Japan and preserved. Time came to 2007, and the Japanese girl Mikiko (played by Toda Erika) was determined to let her father escape from his decadent and escapist life and worked hard to learn tea. Her father Yagi Kei blamed his wife's accidental death on the curse because he was obsessed with tea making and neglected his wife and daughter a few years ago, and tried his best to stop his daughter from learning tea. Mikiko met a Taiwanese tea man on the Internet. The other party had male black gold tea and sent Mikiko a plane ticket to let her come to Taiwan to break the curse by combining the two teas. Mikiko flies to Taiwan and meets Yang Ge (Vic Chou), the boss of an underground tea market who only cares about money and not rules, but he only wants to cheat her of her mother Black Gold Tea. Kei Yagi, who follows her, meets Ruhua, the descendant of the mother Black Gold Tea. All the people gather together like a whirlpool, each with their own thoughts and burdens. They want to decide the winner by competing in tea and face their own lives.
