While working for a cleaning company, the handsome Kyle (Aaron Dean Eisenberg) accidentally received a beautifully crafted, antique coffin from a family. To his surprise, he and his friend Sutton (J. Walter Holland) found that the coffin was equipped with a precise instrument like a clock. Through the name on the key, Kyle found out that the coffin belonged to Tristen, an inventor of a torture device in the 15th century who was called the evil version of Da Vinci. Tristen invented this device called "Ghost Birth Machine" that allows people to experience the feeling of death without pain. After that, Kyle found his girlfriend Julie (Liz Fenning) and classmate Platt (Jared Grey). They lay in the coffin one after another, just to experience the mysterious feeling of the soul leaving the body. In the process, they seemed to discover more secrets about the coffin, but they didn't know that they were being dragged into the dark abyss of eternal damnation...
