Germany's Bavaria Studio will remake "Das Boot". The film tells a thrilling story on a deep-sea U-boat during World War II. The original version was directed by Wolfgang Petersen and is one of the most successful German films in film history. It received six Oscar nominations at the time, including Best Director. Currently, Bavaria Studio has not yet revealed the film's casting information and shooting plan.
