Martin (Kiefer Sutherland) is troubled by his inability to communicate with his 11-year-old autistic son Jake (David Mazouz), and many attempts have failed. Jake always has a blank expression on his face, and he fiddles with scrapped mobile phones all day long, looking at the world by dismantling and fiddling with parts.
