Experienced active ambulance captain Mak Jai-tin (played by Ma Tak-chung) has a happy and complete family, but because of a drunk driver, his wife Cheung Ke-lan (played by Li Jiaxin) died without being rescued, so he hates people and things that act recklessly. Zhuo Jiajie (played by Ho Kwong-pui), whose parents divorced when he was young, became Mak Jai-tin's subordinate by chance. Through the two people's experience of different ambulance cases, the audience can feel that a comforting word or silent companionship from an ambulanceman can reduce the panic of citizens facing injuries and the loneliness of death.
