Plot:
There are two major camps in the Southern Song Dynasty palace. The eldest prince Zhao Guicheng (played by Ao Jianian), the son of the queen, and the second prince Zhao Guihe (played by Lai Lok Yi), the son of Huifei, both covet the throne. The left and right prime ministers Yu Jing (played by Lai Yiu Cheung) and Dong Zhao (played by Zheng Zeshi) who are responsible for offering advice are family friends, teachers and friends, and they assist Guicheng together. However, Yu Jing's father Yu Bowen (played by Zhang Guoqiang) was confiscated because of his achievements and made a slip of the tongue. He and his brother Yu Qing (played by Tang Shiyong) and sister Yu Qing (played by Tang Shiyong) were separated from each other. His brother was deceived into the palace to be a eunuch and suffered humiliation. His sister lost her memory and was fortunately adopted by Yan Sanniang (played by Tian Ruini), the daughter of the leader of the Cao Gang. Yu Jing even mistakenly believed that Dong Zhao betrayed his father for his own selfish interests. He turned against Dong Zhao and did not hesitate to join the treacherous minister Yang Cishan (played by Li Guolin). The Yang family assisted Guihe. The two factions were at odds with each other and fought endlessly, launching a series of open and secret struggles.
