There are two major camps in the Southern Song Dynasty palace. The eldest prince Zhao Guicheng (played by Ao Jianian), the son of the queen, and the second prince Zhao Guihe (played by Lai Lok Yi), the son of Huifei, both covet the throne. The left and right prime ministers Yu Jing (played by Lai Yiu Cheung) and Dong Zhao (played by Zheng Zeshi) who are responsible for offering advice are family friends, teachers and friends, and they assist Guicheng together.
