The story of "Drifting" tells the story of Zu Xiaoai, Wu Zimao and Lu Zishou, who met Xiaomei, a lonely comic novelist, and Mao Zhijian (played by Anthony Wong) in Rose Villa. Mao Zhijian witnessed the death of his parents and children in a car accident, and has been paralyzed ever since. He has a blind wife, and the couple is still in love. Mao Zhijian met Zu Xiaoli, because Xiaoli likes Donald Duck as much as his youngest son did before, but Mrs. Mao doesn't like Zu Xiaoli, which leads to a series of horror stories.
