Yu Yingwei (played by Lai Yiu-cheung) and Li Mingyang (played by Chen Hao) are both well-known lawyers who are good at speaking and fighting. They stood on opposite sides in a yacht lawsuit. What's more, the judge who presided over the lawsuit was Lu Si Ning (played by Wu Yongwei), their old lover. It turned out that Li Mingyang and Lu Si Ning once studied abroad at the same university and were famous for being the golden boy and jade girl in the school. However, Li Mingyang's character was so unruly that Lu Si Ning eventually chose to leave because she couldn't stand it. After returning to China, Lu Si Ning met the steady and down-to-earth Yu Yingwei. The two soon came together and became husband and wife.
