The Orville is a mini space comedy that tells the story of a not-so-top space exploration ship, the Orville, following the adventures of the Earth's interstellar fleet 300 years later. Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, makes his first real-life TV appearance as the captain of the Orville, Ed, while Adrianne Palicki from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. plays his ex-wife Kelly Grayson, who becomes the first officer of the Orville by mistake.
