HBO Max will produce a 10-episode limited series of Sex and the City, titled Just Like That. The story will tell the complicated life and friendship of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in their 50s. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have confirmed their return, while Kim Cattrall is absent. The three returning will serve as executive producers together with the film version's director Michael Patrick King.
