Plot:
Huilin (played by Tavia Yeung) and her apprentice Huiyu (played by Lok Tong) are preparing to become nuns, but before the ceremony, the nunnery abbot is seriously ill. In order to raise money for the abbot's treatment, the two sisters get to know the young master of a money shop, Du Zhenfeng (played by Ma Guoming). Du Zhenfeng agrees to help the abbot treat his illness, but puts forward a harsh condition, that is, to ask Huilin to work as a maid in his house to pay off his debts. Du Zhenfeng is a dandy and often causes trouble outside. Fortunately, Huilin is a martial arts expert. Whenever the former causes trouble, the latter always helps him out. Although the two always dislike each other and have conflicts frequently, over time, they actually develop a different kind of feelings. Du Zhenfeng was fortunate to enter the officialdom and become a county magistrate. He thought he could rise to prominence, but he didn't know that the darkness and evil in the officialdom were bottomless. Although Du Zhenfeng was upright, he was still not immune.
