The debut work of popular suspense writer Honobu Yonezawa, the seishun school suspense novel "Hyouka" is adapted into a live-action version, starring popular young actors Kento Yamazaki and Alice Hirose, and is expected to be released in 2017. The novel "Hyouka" has sold more than 2.05 million copies in total, and has been released as a TV animation version. This year, it has been selected for two consecutive years in the "Weekly Bunshun TOP 10 Suspense Works", "This Mystery Novel is Amazing!" and "I Want to Read Suspense Novels" three rankings. The protagonist of the story, Houtarou Oreki, is a first-year student at Kamiyama High School and a famous "student detective". He joins the "Classic Literature Club" that is on the verge of dissolution because of his sister's order, and deduces various events with his friends.
